A blackjack trainer built for experiments
Blackjack Lab is free blackjack practice, not a real-money casino. It deals simulated cards and lets you make the main decisions in each hand. Your fictional playing pot, protected profit bank, hand history and performance chart make it easier to see the relationship between decisions, variance and bankroll changes.
The simulator uses a six-deck shoe. Number cards count at face value, picture cards count as ten and an ace can count as one or eleven. The goal is to finish closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Rules differ between tables, so always treat this model as one learning environment rather than a promise of how every casino game operates.

Using the analytics
A short session can produce unusual results. The win rate alone does not tell you whether each decision was mathematically sound. Compare the largest drawdown, losing streaks, average stake and capital chart alongside the hand history. The count display is educational context; it is not advice to gamble, and the simulator does not claim that a positive count ensures a winning hand.
A simple practice routine
- Choose a fictional starting amount and stake.
- Before acting, decide whether the hand is soft or hard and note the dealer’s visible card.
- Make your decision, then review the completed hand rather than judging only by whether it won.
- Reset and repeat the same starting conditions if you want a cleaner comparison.

Can I play blackjack here without money?
Yes. All chips and balances are fictional. There is no account, deposit, prize or withdrawal.
Is this a complete basic-strategy trainer?
It is a decision simulator with a simplified automated mode. It does not yet grade every possible hand against a full rule-specific strategy chart.
Will practice results match real blackjack?
No. Random variation and differences in table rules mean results will vary. The lab is designed to explore decisions and probability, not predict profit.
